Our Story

Gorgeous + Beautiful celebrates the natural beauty of flowers, built on the belief that stunning floral arrangements should be daily joys in your life and home, rather than just to celebrate special occasions. We are excited to launch in Toronto and share our love of flowers.

Our story begins in Italy, in Campo de Fiori, which literally translates to “Place of Flowers.” It was here, in one of the oldest open markets in Rome, that a love of flowers was born. Amongst the bustling market and bantering vendors, we met an Italian woman named Anastasia, who taught us about a new flower every day. Her family had been selling flowers in Campo de Fiori for over 300 years. Anastasia’s passion for flowers and incredible knowledge of floral design was infectious, inspiring us to bring this centuries-old practice to Canada. 

For nearly 15 years, we have designed award-winning arrangements for grand-scale events in Toronto and beyond. Carrying the Italian elegance and sensibilities to Canada, our curated floral designs have been centrepieces of events such as the AMBI gala at TIFF, Miami’s Art Basel, and UHN Foundation’s annual Grand Cru Festival. We’ve worked with clients to transform art galleries, museums, yachts, and luxury hotels into clouds of floral perfection, earning industry recognition and praise in publications such as Toronto Life, Dauphine Magazine, Globe & Mail, and Martha Stewart Weddings.

For the next chapter of our story, we wanted to bring this passion and expertise into your home with our newest venture, Gorgeous & Beautiful. We believe the art and beauty of flowers should be celebrated everyday by everyone. At Gorgeous & Beautiful, our goal is to connect bloom lovers with our passion for modern, fresh arrangements.  With Gorgeous & Beautiful At The Market, we are committed to sharing the Italian traditions that started our floral journey, offering gorgeous blooms at Toronto’s historic St. Lawrence Market.
